Pitt Students for One Health 

Ivy Yip is a first-year medical student at Pitt Med. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she completed a bachelor’s in nursing and worked as a nurse in home health, community mental health, geriatrics care coordination in Chicago. While in medical school, she continues to volunteer in street medicine and mentor premed students. Her academic interests include addressing health disparities and increasing awareness of how environmental factors affect health in medical education. She hopes to pursue a career as a physician in psychiatry, public health, and healthcare administration.
