Suresh V. Kuchipudi, PhD, MVSc, DipACVM, MB

Dr. Kuchipudi is a professor in the School of Public Health and chair of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology. He is an expert in emerging and zoonotic viruses and their impact on global health. Dr. Kuchipudi’s research embraces “One Health,” a collaborative approach to research that recognizes the connection between the health of people, animals, and the environment. 

Dr. Kuchipudi earned a bachelor’s degree in veterinary science from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, a master’s degree in microbiology from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, a doctorate from the University Glasgow and a master’s degree in business administration from Penn State Smeal College of Business.
