Dr. Pater is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy where she coordinates the Self-Care course and the Pharmacist Patient Care 2 course. She has a clinical practice at the UPMC Matilda Theiss Health Center, is the Residency Program Director for the PGY2-Global Health/Underserved Residency and has recently been named as a Co-Chair of the Nonprescription Medicine Academy. Dr. Pater is also faculty in the Community Leadership and Innovation in Practice Center

Dr. Pater graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and completed an ASHP accredited Primary Care Residency at Shands Jacksonville.
